About Body-Balance Nutrition
I am a registered nutritional therapist, offering recommendations for a wide range of health problems and weight loss. An IgG antibody laboratory test for food intolerances and environmental allergens is available, depending on your symptoms. The results and my written recommendations are included at the consultation.By assessing imbalances in the diet, pH balance and all dietary factors, my aim is to find the root cause of your symptoms and optimise health.
Laboratory tests available at the appointment include food intolerances, inhaled allergens, coeliac screen, Vitamin D, thyroid function, parasites, Candida albicans, leaky gut, pH balance, vitamin and mineral assessment, hair mineral analysis, heavy metal toxicity and essential fatty acid balance. I will communicate with your GP, with your consent if any test results and symptoms require this.
For weight loss I offer a DNA metabolic typing test, to identify specific foods for your unique metabolic type.
A consultation takes one hour and includes a complete assessment of your medical history, symptoms, both ongoing and current, medication, contra indications and supplements.
I have been practicing for 12 years and follow the strict code of ethics, guidelines and practice as a member of BANT (British Association for Applied Nutrition & Nutritional Therapy) and the CNHC (Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council)

I work with all ages and have experience with a wide range of health problems, particularly allergies, food intolerance and environmental factors. I offer a scientific approach, metabolic typing for health and weight problems, using a wide range of laboratory tests when appropriate, also having a holistic approach to the individual. I attend seminars and conferences throughout the year, covering the most up to date clinical research in to effectiveness of various aspects of functional medicine and nutritional therapy, to bring the best protocols for my clients.I am also an accredited BANT clinical supervisor.
